Trip cancellation will be facilitated

With its new product, the Mondial Assistance accepts personal travel obstacles as reasons for canceling a trip.

According to the Allianz Elementar Versicherungs-Aktiengesellschaft owned company, this type of cancellation insurance at the "All Risk" insurance is unique in Europe.

From tooth pain to water issues

Mondial Assistance is since 1971 in Austria. The company insured last year 2.4 million people in Austria and Southeast Europe in the areas of travel insurance and assistance services. 2008 Mondial Austria received approximately 55,000 claims cases. More than 5.2 million euros have been made within the cancellation protection to the customers paid.

The willingness, a rice insurance, is still only just under half of the Austrians there. Only 45 percent of all vacationers close alliance after a study of such insurance (Insurance Journal 16.6.2008).

Many tourists rely on travel within the EU or the EEA and Switzerland to the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). It is located on the back of the E-Card, and allows the medical care of doctors and hospitals contract in these countries.
